ARTIST STATEMENT
My art-making process begins by taking time to be in the uninterrupted presence of peace, quieting the mind and communing with inspiration. This deep centering is the act of pure breath and consciousness connecting intuitively to creation. Within this sacred space of art-making, a flow of receptivity transforms into energy, revealed through form, layers and color.
Working in this way allows a greater awareness to move through me, giving shape to a tangible expression—an essence of offering, a living prayer. This universal language invites the viewer to experience their own direct conversation, where art and spirit coexist.
There’s a sense of wonder that has captivated me since I was a young girl growing up in Colorado. The wild outdoors, the mysteries, and the grandeur of the natural world led me down a path of exploration—and a desire to know God. What began as an outward quest to learn more about this Divine presence became, over time, an inner peace of knowing. My work explores the intuitive collaboration of the soul with this magnificent God Source who creates life that breathes through all living things with intentionality and profound orchestration.
From the first spark of an idea through the evolutionary deep dive, raw expression and personal creative voice reveals the alchemy of art. The artist’s journey is a gemmed voyage which does not cater to the faint of heart—adorned with insights and discoveries, passion and humility, it is a pathway of exploration harbored in the lighthouse of the soul’s inner truth and I am honored to share it with you!
