My art-making process begins in stillness—taking time to be in the uninterrupted presence of prayer, quieting the mind and listening to the inner guidance that blooms inspiration. This deep centering connects me to the intuitive process of creating. Within this sacred space of art-making, a flow of receptivity becomes the path where forms, layers and colors are revealed, illuminating a broader scope of aligned ideas. Working in this way allows for a deeper awareness to move through me, giving shape to the tangible.
A sense of wonder has captivated me since childhood, growing up in Colorado among the wild beauty, mystery, and the grandeur of the natural world. That early respect for something greater ultimately led me on quest to know this master Creator— God. As a mother, God’s greatest gift of inspiration has been my children and celebrating life with my loved ones. I hope to paint for humanity the love and reverence I feel between the soul and the Divine— heaven and earth, the ongoing dialogue with the sacred that breathes through all living things with intention, beauty and profound orchestration.
From the initial spark of inspiration each piece unfolds through a delicate balance of bold energy and patient grace. My work is guided by light, raw expression, and rooted ideas, revealing the alchemy of the creative process. I see art as a journey into the soul— one that brings forth beauty, insight, and transformation. Being an artist has been a life long path and I intend to continue to create with integrity, grit, joy, passion, and purpose to bring to you an honest expression of my inner truth.
